Position Title: NovelApproachesinProtonRadiation Therapy We are seeking applications for a full-time postdoctoral research associate to participate in our research on novel approaches in proton radiotherapy. The scope of our research group includes FLASH radiotherapy with protons, dosimetry and timing characteristics of proton FLASH beams, Monte Carlo methods in radiotherapy and radiological imaging, spatial fractionation with proton beams, and material maps characterization for Monte Carlo dose calculations in treatment planning of proton therapy. The overarching goal of our work is to investigate novel mechanisms in proton therapy. The successful candidate develops new ideas that promote current practice, helps design and conduct experiments
