The Health Science Officer (Chief of Research) is a full-time supervisory position reporting to Chief of Organizational Development, Education & Research at VA Western Colorado Health Care System (WCHCS) located within VISN 19. The incumbent functions as the Director of the Research Service and formulates the goals and objectives of the research mission, both basic and clinical, of the VA Western Colorado Health Care System (WCHCS) located in Grand Junction, Colorado.
