The Memorial Cardiac and Vascular Institute, part of Memorial Healthcare System in South Florida, is seeking a Board-Certified vascular surgeon for staff relief. All candidates should have strong clinical skills and demonstrated proficiency with the latest vascular and endovascular surgical techniques, including minimally invasive surgery for the management of carotid, aortic disease and lower extremity revascularization for limb salvage. The successful candidate must be able to manage hemodialysis access cases as well. The candidate will work primarily in a dedicated clinical area(s) fulfilling vascular surgery duties and coverage as needed.
This is a staff relief employed position with the multi-specialty Memorial Physician Group. The position offers compensation that is commensurate with training and experience. Professional malpractice and medical liability are covered under sovereign immunity.

In addition to a large general cardiology practice, the MCVI includes all relevant subspecialties including electrophysiology, preventative and interventional cardiology, vascular, congenital heart disease, imaging and genetics. The cardiothoracic surgical program has also earned and maintained the distinguished three-star rating from the Society of Thoracic Surgeons. Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, a 232-bed freestanding facility and part of the Memorial Healthcare System, has an established and highly recognized pediatric heart transplant program. The MCVI performed the first adult heart transplant in Broward county and has an active VAD and Adult Heart Transplant program since 2014. Memorial has the first accredited adult congenital heart program in the State of Florida and is the only ELSO Gold designated ECMO program in South Florida.
