Job Description

The Department of Radiology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is seeking a dedicated breast imaging radiologist to join our imaging team at our Commack, New York regional facility.

The candidate would join a 32-member breast service currently responsible for breast imaging at the main campus in New York City and across multiple regional ACR-accredited Breast Imaging Centers of Excellence sites on Long Island, Westchester and New Jersey. The section interprets over 115,000 breast imaging exams annually including digital mammography, tomosynthesis, contrast mammography, ultrasound, MRI, and breast interventional procedures including radioactive seed localization.

The position is a wonderful opportunity for the breast imager who aspires to be part of a dynamic team working in an academically based practice in a suburban setting with excellent work-life balance. The successful candidate will have exceptional skills in all aspects of state-of-the-art breast imaging and intervention along with some body imaging and x-ray work. Other responsibilities include on-site consultation and participation in imaging and multidisciplinary conferences.

Salary: 350,000-500,000

Physician compensation is based on multiple variables. This range represents annual salary only and does not include supplemental performance-based pay or any one-time payments that eligible candidates may be offered at the time of hire.
