Clinical Trial Manager
This study is funded by a Department of Defense (DoD) Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP) grant. Individuals meeting criteria for GWI will be administered curcumin, resveratrol, or stinging nettle. The goal of the project is to determine if any of these botanical agents are helpful in reducing GWI symptoms. As a DCT, this project is conducted in the same way as a classic randomized controlled trial (RCT), with the exception that individuals can participate from anywhere in the United States. The Researcher IV will lead the research team, and ensure that the project is conducted with the highest scientific and ethical rigor.
