Full-Time, 4pm-12am | Monday-Friday

As a patient-focused clinician, you’re empathetic and know how to create a safe, open atmosphere that allows patients to be receptive. You are also an active listener, just who we need to thoroughly answer patients’ questions -- giving them a voice in their care to reduce anxiety, increase understanding, and develop their trust. Bring your passion for science and health care to contribute to the diagnosis and treatment of our diverse patient population.

Working in our multidisciplinary setting, you will be responsible for providing the highest quality, and most effective laboratory service to our patients. In this vital role, you’ll conduct moderate to high complexity testing on clinical specimens in our hospital’s blood bank, including type-and-screens, crossmatch, blood compatibility, and antibody screening.

Who you are:

You possess a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or one of the physical sciences – Biology, Chemistry
You have 6 years of clinical laboratory or Blood Bank testing experience working in a hospital, health department, university, or a high-level medical research environment
You are a NYS Licensed Clinical Laboratory Technologist, preferably with knowledge of LIS
You are a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist - ASCP, MT or MLS
