The Health Science Specialist will be assigned to the Research and Development Service for the VA Connecticut Healthcare System located in West Haven, CT. The position is responsible for managing clinical tests and collecting data, and recruiting and managing human subjects for clinical trials. The position provides day-to-day support for the VA Research Program. To qualify for this position, applicants must meet the following requirements: BASIC EDUCATION REQUIREMENT - Applicants must possess a Bachelor's or graduate/higher level degree with major study in an academic field related to the medical field, health sciences or allied sciences appropriate to the work of the position.
