Description JOB SUMMARY: Provides service to patient either pre-appointment, during or post appointment with minimal guidance. Coordinates more complex patient to include scheduling with multiple services or coordination with outside facilities or providers. Facilitates required pre-authorization, precertification or predetermination for procedures or appointments. Provide guidance to entry level coworkers. The Senior Patient Service Specialist role is a full time position that offers a $2,000 sign on bonus. The sign on bonus is for a full time role and is not applicable to current employees or candidates who have worked at VUMC in the last year.
