The incumbent is a Health Science Specialist, also called a Clinical Research Coordinator, for one or more research studies or clinical demonstration projects conducted at the VA Medical Center. The mission of research and development (R&D) is to improve the qualify of health care for veterans. Through a variety of research methods and techniques, these studies examine the causes, rehabilitation, interventions, treatments, and health service utilization of medical and/or psychiatric disorders.
