Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Emory University (Atlanta, GA, USA) to study spinal autonomic interneuronal circuits and their plasticity after injury. JOB DESCRIPTION: The lab of Dr. Francisco J. Alvarez (Department of Cell Biology) seeks a person to fill a new 3-year postdoctoral position. The successful candidate will carry out work on the plasticity of spinal interneuronal circuits modulating sympathetic outflow that control skin and muscle vasculature. The candidate will use a variety of transynaptic viral approaches in the mouse to map different genetic classes of spinal interneurons connected to autonomic spinal motoneurons controlling peripheral vasculature.
