Registered Nurse (Hematology/Oncology Research Coordinator)
The Registered Nurse (RN) will perform as the Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) of the Hematology/Oncology department within the Durham VA Health Care System. The RN will work independently or with general direction at the fully operational level to execute, manage, and coordinate clinical trials, as directed by the Principal Investigator (PI) under the guidelines of research protocols, VHA, and regulating agency policies. Duties will include: Subject management: Screening subjects, scheduling research procedures, consenting subjects, monitoring subjects, and collecting/reporting adverse event information.
