Staff Scientist, Anesthesiology
Description JOB SUMMARY: The Dept. of Anesthesiology has an opening for a Staff Scientist that requires an MS or PhD in biology, chemistry, or related field. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting an ongoing collaboration with Ono Pharmaceuticals and the Warren Center for Neuroscience Drug Discovery aimed at developing novel potassium channel modulators for treating neurological disorders. Most their time will be spent doing automated or manual patch clamp electrophysiology, however some of their effort will go toward supervising a research assistant and organizing/performing high-throughput quantitative fluorescence assays. Training in patch clamp electrophysiology and high-throughput screening will be provided. Assi
