The UF Health Proton Therapy Institute (UFHPTI), located in Jacksonville, Florida, has an immediate opening for a Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC). Under the direction of the Research Director, the Principal Investigator, and the Medical Director, the CRC is responsible for the coordination and administration of research protocols. This includes preparing protocol-related forms/documents for submission to the IRB, Office of Clinical Research, and other committees as required, following patient compliance, data entry, assisting in the education of UFHPTI staff about protocols and research, and ensuring that pre-established SOPs, research protocols, and regulatory requirements are followed.
Qualified candidates should have a minimum of one (1) year prior work experience in research to include working with the IRB. Oncology experience strongly preferred. College degree required, BS or higher degree preferred. Experience working in an academic setting is helpful. Research certification a plus. Familiarity with the Code of Federal Regulations as they pertain to human subject clinical research is preferred. Excellent computer skills required.
Must be skilled in organizing resources and establishing priorities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required. Must be detail oriented and understand good clinical practices and principles. Ability to format and generate summary and presentation reports.
