Reporting to the Director of the Centralized Research Business Partners, you will oversee the day-to-day processing of HB and PB research-related revenue cycle activities for all clinical research departments. This involves managing an exceptional team of credentialed coding and billing professionals to ensure accuracy and efficiency of research charge and account analysis, research charge adjudication, study calendar construction, and research pricing estimations. You will assign work, monitor performance, and conduct internal work quality reviews. You will also:
·Analyze data from multiple technical systems
·Make recommendations for charge adjudication decisions
·Manage departmental reporting workflows
·Serve as primary management contact for clinical and administrative inquiries
·Ensure timely response to all inquiries and requests for work completion
We’re seeking a self-motivated, highly-detailed individual with:
·Related Bachelor’s degree – Master’s preferred
·A minimum of 5-7 years of hospital or professional billing management experience
·A minimum of 5-7 years of experience managing healthcare coding or billing staff
·Previous analytical and database software experience
·Claims review and diagnosis/procedure coding experience preferred
·Exceptional leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
·Lean workflow optimization experience preferred
·Ability to work well independently
·Epic expertise highly desirable
·CCS, CCS-P, CPC-H, CPC credentials are helpful
·Clinical research experience would be a big plus
