The Institute for Neurodegenerative Disorders is an independent research institute founded in 2001, focusing on Parkinson's Disease and working closely with the Michael J Fox Foundation on the Parkinson's Progression Marker Initiative (PPMI). We seek an experienced, innovative and dynamic leader to develop and implement key operational strategies for the PPMI program. Specific roles include responsibility for clinical site management and success in PPMI including the development of a therapeutic arm for the PPMI prodromal cohort. This important role will set a vision and ensure successful implementation for recruitment, retention, compliance, and most importantly scientific engagement at global PPMI clinical sites and within the PPMI cores and leadership. Major Responsibilities include: -Develop and implement an overarching strategy for ensuring clinical site performance success metrics in PPMI. -Build a cross-functional team to support clinical site management; accountable for team goal-setting, metrics and deliverables. -Cultivate strong relationships with key internal and external team members, thought leaders, vendors, collaborators, and partners that support clinical site management. -Communicate effectively with leadership and key stakeholders on clinical site success metrics, strategies, and issues; connect the dots on how this supports PPMI overall mission. -Establish and ensure scalable and actionable feedback mechanism with clinical sites. -Ensure clinical site regulatory study compliance and proactively manage US and international site regulatory issues in collaboration with PPMI study leadership and sponsors. -Develop initial and ongoing study training for all aspects of PPMI, enabling site staff to optimize site performance in collaboration with PPMI study cores. -Execute end-to-end project management, including defining key outcomes, establishing cross-functional team roles and responsibilities, getting buy-in on project plans and timelines, and communicating status and results. -Develop Ppt presentations, project charters and project plans, Excel reports and pivot tables in support of successful project execution. -Accountable for hiring, on-boarding, training, development and supervision of team members with a focus on talent cultivation and coaching.

-Bachelors degree with 20+ years experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role, in the clinical research field; experience with human subjects' research required. -Experience in therapeutic development process; neurodegenerative disorders experience a plus. -Provides at-level leadership, using solid business acumen; demonstrates sound judgment and strategically addresses challenges with the ability to influence cross-functional teams. -Exceptional talent cultivation skills, including mentoring, training and holding team members accountable to objectives and deliverables. -Experience managing project budgets and scope. -Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills; develops processes; tracks and analyzes results, proposing strategic course corrections as needed. -Adapts management and work style based on team dynamics while delivering under tight deadlines. - Strong written and verbal communication skills especially on remote and virtual platforms; provides clear purposeful presentations and leads meetings effectively. -Strong remote-work competencies: self-starter, independent worker, time and priority management and tech savvy. -Mastery of standard Microsoft tools; experience with web-based management tools e.g. Asana, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, etc. -Periodic travel - up to 25%
