The Research Supervisor provides day-to-day supervision of department based Clinical Research staff. The Research Supervisor also develops, negotiates and monitors budgets related to funded Research projects, working closely with Baylor Scott & White Health (BSWH). In addition, the Research Supervisor is responsible for the following:
Organizes and facilitates the implementation of Clinical Research projects and monitors for quality and timely completion . Develops or assists in the development of protocols, proposals or grants.
Monitors communication with the Institutional Review Board (IRB), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and other applicable regulatory agencies.
Assists various Principal Investigators, through delegated authority, with conducting clinical trials per federal, state and institutional guidelines. The ideal candidate for the Research Supervisor role will have a Bachelor’s degree, 2-5 years of research experience, and experience supervising others.
