Sr. Clinical Research Project Manager

The Senior Clinical Research Project Manager will be responsible for managing an international clinical research project including planning, execution, oversight and reporting throughout the course of the project. The Project Manager will lead a domestic and international project team to ensure quality deliverables that are on time and within budget parameters. The Project Manager is responsible for clearly understanding the scope of work and successfully managing the Client’s expectations.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:

• Oversee all aspects of clinical research activities, contribute to project planning, review budgets and draft budget justifications, assist with payments and contracts tracking, and manage vendors.
• Oversee all client deliverables through activities such as maintaining project timelines, providing client operations updates, and preparing monthly project progress reports.
• Lead a project team in the areas of clinical operations, data management, and clinical QA, to ensure quality and timely delivery of all contract requirements
• Anticipate and identify potential problems and propose preventive measures and solutions. Identify and implement measures to facilitate process improvement.
• Facilitate and manage project meetings, conference calls, and training. Track completion of project action items.
• Develop project-specific and/or study specific project plans including project management plan, communication plan, safety plan and, risk management plan.
• Identify new SSS business opportunities with existing clients and communicate potential opportunities with management.
• Perform other duties as required.
