• Manages clinical trial call center and database teams to meet research participant accrual targets for all therapeutic areas within AHRI

• Develop process for schedule and chart reviews across multiple therapeutic areas, along with providing oversight to database teams which will recruit with this strategy

• Collaborates with Clinical Research Operations Managers, Investigators, Scientists, Marketing and other AHRI teams to develop recruitment plans that achieve target enrollment

• Identifies and mitigates barriers to enrollment with continual accrual rate monitoring

• Develops collateral materials for submission to regulatory teams, along with timely delivery to all necessary recipients

• Develops, refines and manages systems and processes for efficient call center operations, interface with Marketing and Social Media teams and AdventHealth Data teams to meet core goals

• Oversees the creation, management and refinement of a searchable database of research participant volunteers

• Provides direction to data teams to leverage electronic medical records for feasibility review and potential research participant searches

• Works within budgetary guidelines to develop and execute plans

• Develops collaborative relationships with partnering medical practices

• Promotes clinical trials to target audiences including physician practices, community forums, educational institutions and healthcare sites

• Bachelorâ™s degree in medical, scientific, healthcare, business administrative, marketing or related field

• Two years of managerial experience in sales, marketing or clinical trial recruitment

• Provide Supervision of Clinical Trial Recruitment Team

• Business or clinical sales/marketing skills

• Ability to work closely with varied stakeholders to meet established targets and goals

• Ability to develop metrics for recruiting and operational goals

• Ability to quickly identify decreased accrual rates and implement new strategies to bridge gaps

• Knowledge of digital marketing technologies and data analytics

• Demonstrated ability to manage teams in a fast-paced environment

   
  Preferred:
   

• Certified Clinical Research Associate (CCRA) or ACRP Certified Professional (per the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP)

• Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) (per the Society of Clinical Research Associates)

• Clinical research recruitment experience

• Client management database experience

• Clinical Research Associate (CRA) or trial management experience

• Demonstrated expertise in clinical trial recruitment, with increasing responsibility in people management

• Demonstrated ability to work with Marketing or Business Development teams to build, produce and review study-specific advertisements for clinical research trials

Clinical Trial Recruitment Manager works with AdventHealth Research (AHRI) Investigators, Scientists, Clinical Research Operations Managers, and other AdventHealth leadership to develop systems, processes and recruitment plans to achieve target enrollment for clinical trials and investigator-initiated clinical studies across all therapeutic areas.  The Manager collaborates with AdventHealth Marketing teams to develop advertising materials for specific clinical trials. The Manager develops performance metrics aligned with peer institution standards of accruals, efficiencies, i.e. CONSORT diagrams to report to clinical operations teams during pre-study assessment , during study execution and at close-out. The Manager oversees the research contact database for use in volunteer recruiting, as well as being responsible for the oversight of electronic medical record searches for the purposes of feasibility assessments and identification of potential research volunteers. Manages a team of data and call center personnel including staffing, training and performance review. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
