JOB SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Chair of Division of Cardiology-Clinical, supervises clinical and nonclinical staff in the non-invasive Cardiology area including Stress Testing, Cardiac Monitoring, and Echocardiography. Implements policies and procedures, supports quality improvement initiatives and reviews outcome-based measures to facilitate needed change. Oversees and organizes outpatient cardiology clinics and services across Cook County Health (CCH). Oversees the proper implementation of various operational and quality improvement initiatives in the non-invasive cardiology laboratory, cardiac catheterization laboratory, Cardiology Clinics, Coronary Care Unit, and other clinical cardiology services in the CCH.
This position is exempt from Career Service under the CCH Personnel Rules.
