We are in search of a Manager, Clinical Research to join the robustclinical research department that supports the entire health care system spanning across the state of Montana. Clinical research participates in clinical trails in multiple specialties in both inpatient and outpatient settings, participating in clinical pharmaceutical and device trials. We are actively participating in the COVID therapies and NIH COVID trials, in addition to specialty trials to include cardiology, pulmonary, COVID, oncology, rheumatology, endocrinology and GI, with expanding areas of focus.
In this role you will manage five coordinators and one, dedicated regulatory specialist. You must be a strong leader to lead this program into the future with an innovative mind to support the growth of the organization.
You will manage the day to day operations of the Kalispell Regional Healthcare (KRH) Clinical Research Department. Works in coordination with KRH leadership, staff, clinical trial investigators and providers, to ensure clinical trials are conducted safely, ethically and in compliance with FDA regulation, ICH Guidelines, Sponsor protocol requirements, KRH policies and procedures and applicable industry standards.
Qualifications
Bachelors of Science degree in related field or BSN required. Master’s degree in research related field, business or healthcare administration preferred.
Minimum of three (3) years’ leadership experience required.
Minimum of two (2) years’ clinical research experience required. Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams preferred.
Current Certification in Clinical Research (i.e. CCRC or CCRA) required.
Current CPR Certification within ninety (90) days of hire.
Current IATA Certification preferred (specimen shipping), or must successfully obtain within thirty (30) days of hire.
Successful attainment of Phlebotomy Certification within one (1) year of hire required.
Twenty minutes from Glacier National Park, Kalispell, Montana is located in the Flathead Valley and offers a variety of recreational activities including skiing (world class Whitefish Mountain Resort is 15 miles north), fishing, camping, water sports, climbing and old fashioned exploring. The city of Kalispell and nearby Whitefish is full of shopping and restaurants and is also just north of Flathead Lake, which is the largest freshwater lake west of the Mississippi.
