Expanding Clinical Research site in Martin county seeking part to full-time, experienced physician/principal investigator to manage all medical aspects of multiple, concurrent clinical trials for adult and geriatric patients in the therapeutic area of Alzheimer’s Disease.
Key responsibilities of position: manage all medical and safety related trial activities from study start-up to closeout; maintain knowledge and understanding of the research process and all competencies required to conduct clinical research while adhering to current ICH GCP guidelines; conduct directed physical and neurological examinations; complete comprehensive neuromedical interviews and written histories; read ECGs; review labs and MRI reports; enroll patients in qualifying trials; administer safety assessments; data entry; professionally interface with patients and families, team members and pharmaceutical Sponsors and respective vendors. Must be team oriented and have ability to engage with entire research team.

Knowledge and current certificate of GCP (Good Clinical Practice) and other FDA regulations pertinent to the conduct of clinical studies recommended.
Ability to professionally interface with employees, pharmaceutical sponsors, patients and caregivers.
Experience working with geriatric population and experience with Alzheimer's Disease is a definite plus.
