Manages the clinical trial patient recruitment process. Develops methods to interview potential subjects by telephone for exchange of appropriate information about individuals and programs, including the development of indication-specific telephone screens. Facilitates clinic access by scheduling, or assisting in scheduling, potentially eligible subjects who likely meet diagnostic or inclusion/exclusion criteria for study entry. Globally responsible for increasing total enrollment rate, specifically by minimizing the screen failure rate, determining causes for appointment cancellations and no shows, developing interventions designed to increase study specific enrollment rate and assisting study staff in implementing the interventions. Routinely communicates with Director of Operations, Investigators, and study coordinators to provide updates regarding recruitment strategies, efficiency, preparedness for upcoming studies and the enrollment rate in relation to study completion timelines. Responsible for all aspects regarding study-specific ad placement, including timeliness, appropriateness and cost effectiveness.
Prefer Bachelor's degree or licensed healthcare professional, who excels at problem solving and working as an integral member of multiple project teams. Must be communication savvy to build appropriate rapport in person and by phone. Operates from a place of personal integrity in all interactions and is skilled at planning projects, evaluating results and anticipating roadblocks.
