(Working from our Jackson, TN facility) Professional with strong background in early intervention consulting services for 1-3 year old children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD). Serve as a consultant in developing, implementing and evaluating instructional and/or behavioral programs that may include innovative projects designed for children used by those working with children in special education or those with specialized needs, i.e. developmental disabilities, autism. The consultant will train professional teachers and educational groups to include but not limited to individual parents.
Planning, preparing and conducting behavioral assessments and training activities for parents,community service providers and educators who work with children with ASD.
Consulting with parents, community providers and educators to help them develop appropriate goals and activities for individual children via home, clinic, school or telemedicine-based services.
.Participating in diagnostic and behavioral evaluations through direct assessment and/or collaboration with evaluating psychologists or Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
REQUIRES excellent communication/presentation skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word, EXCEL, and PowerPoint. Also a bachelor's degree and several years of experience working directly with children with ASD.
Develop content for a variety of instructional programs using in field experience and expertise as necessary to research and/or review other research provided by experts. Based on research and expertise, the content developed should be presented in a collaborative manner and within an appropriate delivery mode that enables learning by those identified in the target audience (i.e. instructors, educators, etc.).
Master's Degree (or equivalent experience) and 1 year relevant experience
