Work under the immediate direction of the DCCT Clinical Operations manager and a principal investigator, whose research activities are conducted under International Conference on Harmonization (ICH)/Good Clinical Practice (GCP) Guidelines. Manage the elements of a clinical trial in order to meet contracted obligations. Perform tasks such as but not limited to: site preparation; patient screening and recruitment ; patient enrollment; conducting study visits; completing and ensuring the quality of case report forms; maintaining source documents; ensuring site quality. Must conduct all trial activities according to the appropriate federal and state regulations. Most important of all, must help to ensure the safety and well being of all study subjects throughout the trial. Required: Graduate RN Program, 3 years of clinical nursing experience with a working knowledge of PCs, word processing, excel, and data management software, effective verbal and written communication skills, goal oriented, self directed, ability to function independently, good organizational and interpersonal skills, team player, and ability to travel to investigator meetings when necessary. Preferred 5 years clinical nursing experience with at least 2 years minimum experience as a Clinical Trials Nurse or Clinical Research Coordinator along with Certified Clinical Research Coordinator, (CCRC) certifications.
