University Pediatricians, the physician practice plan for the Wayne State Department of Pediatrics and in affiliation with Children's Hospital of Michigan, is seeking a full-time Child Psychologist. This position combines clinical and research responsibilities by providing comprehensive, evidence-based assessment and treatment services to help improve the quality of life for children with ASD and their families.
The psychologist will conduct diagnostic and follow-up evaluations, provide assessment support for a multidisciplinary evaluation team, train and supervise master’s level staff and students, and participate in clinical research activities. The psychologist will also develop treatment recommendations for children in our Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs. Requirements: A PhD in Clinical Psychology and experience using the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule-2 (ADOS-2) and Autism Diagnostic Inventory-Revised (ADI-R) with children with autism spectrum disorders and their parents is preferred. The position is open to licensed and license eligible candidates. Supervision for licensure hours may be provided for license eligible candidates.
