The IRB Specialist manages the day-to-day operations of the IRB. Responsible for monitoring and ensuring compliance with OHRP and FDA regulations and institutional requirements. Serve as knowledgeable IRB specialist to investigative teams
Bachelor's degree required. Master's preferred.
Three or more years recent, equivalent work experience in IRB or clinical research study coordination.
Certification by Council of Certified IRB Professionals strongly preferred. Expectation of obtaining certification once eligible.
Good interpersonal skills required to effectively interact with clinicians, researchers and administration.
Organizational skills to manage a variety of diversified assignments on a timely basis.
