We currently have an opening for a Clinical Research Nurse Educator at the Center for Translational Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center.
The Clinical Research Nurse Educator assesses the research-related education and training needs for the UT Southwestern campus – identifying learning gaps, and developing a comprehensive educational program for the human subject research enterprise. Working at the Center for Translational Medicine, he/she works with subject matter experts as needed, delivering educational offerings in appropriate and varied media formats. The Clinical Research Nurse Educator assists in the planning, development and coordination of new employee orientation and research staff development initiatives. Performs other duties as assigned.
Licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Texas State Board of Nursing.
Minimum of 5 years of related applied human subject research experience.
Advanced knowledge of federal regulations and industry standards for the conduct of human subject research.
Clinical educator and AAHRPP experience preferred.
