Dartmouth-Hitchcock and the Department of Orthopaedics is seeking to hire a Senior Research Scientist. The successful candidate will contribute to the performance and success of scientific research program(s) utilizing internal or extramural funding with the goal of establishing independent research funding. This is an ideal opportunity for an individual who wants to supervise students, trainees, research assistants, scientists and associate scientists. In this role, candidates will present at conferences, symposia; mentor and provide guidance to collaborators, trainees and junior researchers.
Ideal candidate will: •Have an independent research portfolio •Write and provide oversight of multiple grants and research projects •Author publications in national scientific journals •Act as Principal investigator •Supervise students, trainees, research assistants, scientists and associate scientists
Minimum qualifications: •PhD or MD •Assistant Professor
