We have an opening for a motivated, detail-oriented, and effective Financial Assistant. He or she will support the advancement of new medical treatments by playing a key role in managing the financial management of a national network of clinical research sites.

The goal of the Financial Assistant is to support the management team at Care Access Research in maintaining our financial management system. The primary responsibilities of this role are to (1) maintain and update financial trackers and revenue generating event databases, (2) create new trackers and financial documentation as necessary, and (3) conduct quality checks on trackers with multiple users. This role requires an impeccable attention to detail and willingness to understanding the financial management of clinical research at the site-level.
Referring to project budgets and existing internal templates to create:
Payment breakdown worksheets
Other relevant financial trackers
Maintaining financial databases and trackers by:
Identifying and correcting errors
Reconciling financial information
Maintaining data entry
Preparing standard reports
Conducting routine analysis and compliance checks
Assisting management team in conducting:
Research and analysis
Audits to ensure accuracy of information
Identifying and implementing best practices and improvements

Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in economics, mathematics, business administration, accounting, finance, healthcare business related fields or statistics
Two to three years of relevant work experience
An understanding of clinical research and site operations
Familiarity with Medicare Billing Compliance
