Job Location The Research Analyst position is located in Indianapolis, Indiana, North Campus of Community Health Network.
Job Duties The Research Analyst is responsible for assisting Research Coordinators with aspects of assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating research projects as well as research related billing build and minor clinical content build within the EMR system. The Research Analyst is be responsible for building and maintaining all research financials within Network financial systems.
Demonstrated administrative experience and leadership
Experience and support with all phases of research/clinical trials and related billing
Knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and current and emerging best practices relative to those research areas
Possess exceptional customer service skills
Strong computer skills including ability to work in multiple systems at once
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
Understanding accrual accounting as well as proven ability to initiate business improvements in these areas
Experience in taking decisive action to implement new processes, solutions or changes
Experience in using strong analytical skills to gather, interpret and present complex data
Attention to detail with a focus on quality
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Must be willing to travel throughout the Community Health Network as needed
Must be willing to travel out-of-state occasionally, as needed for training
Minimum of two (2) years research billing / administration experience. The ideal candidate will be familiar and comfortable working with PeopleSoft.
Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience (Research Billing, Finance, Accounting), CareConnect training within associated applications (within 60 days of hire), Epic Research Certification (obtained within 6 to 12 months of hire)
