Clinical Coordinator Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to work closely with principal investigators to assist with identification and recruitment of patients and controls into our clinical research trials. The coordinator will identify patients attending clinic each day for participation, obtain informed consent, conduct research visits per protocol, review and abstract data from medical records, enter data into various databases, interface with research sponsors, manage and maintain regulatory documents including submissions/reports to the IRB. Comply with FDA, ICH/GCP, and HIPAA rules and regulations.
BS in healthcare or clinical research related field and/or current OK professional license to include LPN, RN, or related field. Equivalent/Substitution: 48 months of clinical/research experience in lieu of BS. 2 years of regulatory experience.Knowledge of HIPAA, IRB rules, and regulations required. Must be detail-oriented, thorough, efficient, trustworthy, flexible, and have excellent communication skills. Solid understanding of good clinical practice. Ability to manage high-throughput workflow and appropriately prioritize tasks to meet and exceed deadlines. Must have the ability to deal professionally with diverse personalities and cultures in stressful and difficult situations. Must maintain confidential information and keep up-to-date technically. Must have the ability to multi-task, work independently as well as in a team.
CCRC or CCRP with four (4) years of clinical research or trial experience. Phlebotomy skills. Ability to process basic lab protocols and ship blood products. Spanish-speaking skills a plus.
Typically Monday-Friday from 8:30 am-5:00 pm; however, hours may vary depending on workload and patient/participant schedules.
