Minimum - Master’s degree in speech-language pathology
Minimum - Experience in diagnostics including acoustics, aerodynamics, stroboscopy, high speed imaging, flexible endoscopy, videofluoroscopy and high resolution manometry
Experience in providing voice, airway, resonance and swallow therapy
Preferred –Three or more years of experience in subspecialized voice, airway, resonance and swallow medical setting preferred.
Contribution to local or national professional boards and committees (such as (ASHA or State-level speech and hearing associations)
Record of presentation at national and regional professional conferences
Licenses and Certifications:
Minimum – WI licensure and ASHA certified (CCC-SLP) or eligible for certification. Certification in Healthcare Provider Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Automatic External Defibrillator or eligible for certification.
Preferred – BCSS preferred for swallow subspecialty
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
Familiarity with a variety of procedure-based assessment and intervention protocols is required.
Organization, time management, flexibility, and positive attitude are crucial to successful performance. Collaborates with peers while being open and approachable.
Light: Ability to lift up to 20 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
Full-Time, 40 hours per week. Scheduled hours will be between the hours of 7:30 am – 5:00 pm; Monday – Friday. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.
