The person in this role is responsible for the coordination of clinical research trials. Will be overseeing staff and related clinical operations. The coordinator serves as a point person for sponsors, principal investigators, and other stakeholders. Evaluate protocols and assess feasibility of proposed clinical trials. Organize and participate in site initiation visits. Serve as point person for clinical site monitoring visits. The Clinical Research Coordinator will also work with the study team and Director to ensure clinical trials are conducted in compliance with all applicable federal, state and local regulations as well as the standards of Good Clinical Practice guidelines and policies and procedures mandated by the study sponsor.
Graduate of an accredited State Board of Nursing approved program; Bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum of three years nursing experience in field relevant to hiring department; Clinical research experience preferred.
Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice required. Association of Clinical Research Professional Certification (ACRP) preferred.
