Centra’s Pearson Cancer Center is looking for a full-time Oncology Clinical Trials RN Coordinator to join their team!
The Oncology Clinical Trials Nurse Coordinator oversees day to day operations and coordination of clinical trials and coordination of care of clinical trials patients. This position provides leadership in the conduct of clinical trials, improving outcomes for patients, and enhancing study integrity. The Clinical Trials practice encompasses interaction among providers, nursing colleagues, pharmacists, and other health care professionals serving the patient. The practice reflects the American Nurses Association's Code for Nurses and the Nurse Practice Act of Virginia.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
At least five years of nursing experience. Must be proficient in computer software systems including word processing and spreadsheet applications.
Clinical trials experience is preferred, specifically experience reading and accurately interpreting federal regulations related to patient safety and reporting requirements for clinical trials.
Knowledge of Food and Drug Administration, National Cancer Institute, and American Society of Clinical Oncology resources and regulations. Oncology experience is preferred.
